RV FAQ: We get quite a few questions about RV's in the village. Currently (for 2021), the Land Use Bylaw establishes a general limit of 2 RV's per lot.
Further to this, the Buffalo Lake Intermunicipal Development Plan also establishes that one RV may be used as accommodations with no time limit, but the second may either be stored, or may only be used as accommodations for 30 consecutive days. With an email to administration, this limit (of 2) may be extended to 4 RV's for up to 5 consecutive days. This is designed to allow for some long weekend visits. The reason administration has to track it is that this extension can only occur 3 times per year for a lot. Also, that way if we get complaints we can let our Bylaw enforcement know that a temporary extension has been granted.
