Mike Greene

Mike Greene is a young father to two boys (Marko and Brody), a loving husband to Suzzette, and a proud Canadian Armed Forces veteran. He is a natural leader who is committed, driven, and transparent and will bring all of these qualities to Council.

In his free time, Mike likes to spend time in White Sands fishing, boating, and kayaking during the summer months and ice fishing in the winter.

Mike has had the privilege of calling White Sands his second home for the past 3 years. During this time, he has seen many opportunities for improvement with Council. Mike's first priority is increasing transparency and communication with the community, with streamed council meetings allowing all community members access. He also believes that more public engagement is needed on projects like the proposed walkway along the beach, speed limit increases, and speed bump removal. If elected, Mike guarantees better communication with your council!

Mike Greene is a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran, who has deployed twice to Afghanistan (2009 & 2011) as well as the Calgary flood in 2013. Mike has served our country, and now he wishes to serve you.
